Hello, I would like to thank everyone that has purchased a puppy from Red River Kennels.
Below are emails and letters from the customers and their pets.
Thank you

Hi Vona,
Here is a few pics of Murphy. Isn't she the cutest. She is still weighing 2lbs 14 oz. She has been in heat for the last couple of weeks. She is such a little hussy! Next time she comes in do you have or know of anyone that would have a male small enough for her to breed to? I would like to have one litter of pups with her before I spay her. Let me know when you have a minute. Hope everything is going great with you and your family. My tel# is XXX-XXX-XXXX

Hey Vona,
Just wanted to let you know how our lil Ester Grace is doing. We named
her after Queen Ester in the Bible. She was a great Queen and so is
our lil one. She is already so very spoiled. Baylee the lab doesn't
know what to think about her and Duke my lil blind yorkie man doesn't have
a clue she is even around. But everyone else that has seen her loves,
loves, loves her. She is my lil blessing from God, (and you!!) I will
send you photos soon.
Have a glorious Christmas!
I am even thinking I may have to get another one this summer or fall if
all things go well. I will keep you informed.

Is this not THE MOST BEAUTIFUL/SPOILED dog you have ever seen? This is Aidan, that little black and brown spot I bought from you on New Years. Is is a WHOPPING 10 lbs now. He just got his 6 mos kennel cough dose on Friday. He is the sweetest thing ever. I have noticed that he likes to be the center attention, and if he isn't, he will make his way through to be the center of attention. It is sooo funny.
Just wanted you to know he was doing GREAT and that I love him with ever bit of love i produce.
We are in desparate need of a vacation, but I am not EVER taking them to Mans Best Friend again, they came back home angry.. maybe lack of sleep.. not sure, but my mother in law comes to stay for the weekend takes care of them when we go out of town, just on the weekends.

Hi Vona,
I just wanted to let you know that Niko, that's what we named him is
doing
great....He definetly
thinks he's bigger than his size. I've been working on his training
and
he's doing exceptionally well.
We love him so much. He's gotton bigger, but his legs are still short.
(so
cute!) He loves going on car rides and he's gotton used to his crate.
So
he's gotton over his terrible traveling experience. Thanks again.

Hi Vona! I just found Takin Over Bigtime Leo's papers and wanted to write to you. I still miss him so much!!
I have his twin brother Tanner also and their tounges both hang out the same way that Leo Sr.'s did!!! Leo Jr. weighs 4.9 lbs. and Tanner weighs 4.11. They are 3 years old now.
Do you still have dogs from Leo Sr.'s background??? I know Elvis is related to him. I tried to see your puppies available but they wouldn't come up.
Just wanted to share my beautiful baby with you!!
Take care, Kim Walker - Florida

Hi Vona,
How are you? We thought that we should drop some lines to say hi and to show you how beautiful our baby Lacie (a.k.a = PIXIE) is getting...
She is growing so fast! She has a very nice temperament, we take her almost everywhere we go in her little doggie purse... and she is so well behaved, never barks or whines at all. She will be 5 months next week & she weights just 2.3lbs!
We are very happy with Pixie, she is turning to be a gorgeous dog, her coat is getting beautiful too, changing to gold & dark silver!!
We are including some pictures, maybe you would like to add them to your great Yorkie photo gallery... :o) We hope you like them.
Best regards,
Yansi

Hello
We love wilma and betty so much. we just want to thank you for letting us purchase them. We have enjoy them alot. We have had one litter of puppies with wilma they were so cute she had 8. We bought a male and got all of them registered through nkc. All the puppies were sold by the time they were 6 weeks old. Now betty is preg. and we are expecting puppies in 30 days with her. Wilma sleeps with us and everything. She does chew on everything alot, but we have alot of toys for them but they still chew on stuff they are not suppose to.. If you ever have any olde's that you want to get rid of please let us know first.i will send you some pics of them tomorrow or so to show you how happy they are .. We thank you again for the wonderful dogs..

Dear Vona . . . I thought you might want to see how beautiful Max turned out! Included are the "girls" Taffy (Red & White) and Topsey (Black & White) all of which are now "fixed". The photo of just Max shows his wonderful coat and his very special "Who Me" look. We laugh at his "Who Me" look with his teeth sticking out a little bit on the bottom. He is a voyeur who stands back and watches what is happening. He is shy, slow to move and the largest of the puppies. Taffy is 8.5 lbs., Topsey is about 10 lbs.(she is the alpha dog) and Max is 13+ lbs. He is the longest of the dogs. He and the girls romp and chase and play very well together.
The pupplies travel with us back and forth to NY and AL extraordinarily well. I am in AL now but will head back to NY on 1/1/05 and stay till 11/05. I do believe I could let Max bed down on a snow drift without worrying that he will be cold because his coat is so magnificent. It's silky too! He doesn't mind being groomed or bathed. He begs by pawing my legs to get up on the desk where her sleeps while I work at the computer.
We decided not to breed them because it would be too inconvenient when we again travel full time in our RV. Perhaps some day we will visit your kennel.
Regards . . . Daneen Peterson

Here are a couple of photos of Zaccheaus. He has just started his breeding career. His first litter is due New Years Eve. He ended up weighing just under 10 lbs. He just bred to his second female with a litter due just before Valentines day.
It will be exciting to see what he produces. He has finally started coming out of his shell a little. He is very sensitive. He is the kinda guy that has to develop a relationship with a girl before he will breed. My other male will do any body any time any where. Not Zacchaeus, but that is fine with me.
Hope all is going well for you. Your new web site looks like it will be nice when it is finished. You currently have some broken links. I couldn't look at your puppies and your Shih Tzu page is empty.
May God Bless you and your family this next year.

Hi Vona:
You don't know me but I purchased a yorkie from you through Ramona at The PetDiva. I am so pleasede with my little bundle.
He is everything I have been looking for. After a couple of bad experiences with a couple of breeders I was getting very discouraged. You have restored my faith.
I renamed him Minouch and he weighed 2.7lbs at his last last vet visit on 8/19. I am going to try and attach a photo for you.
Thanks Again

Hi Vona
How are you, this is Lucy Turull from NY. I'm not sure if you remember me, My husband bought a yorkie from you about 9 months ago. We named him gizmo and he is doing just fine, he is a funny one. If we buy our daughter a toy we have to get him one, he loves to play. He still does not get the wee wee pad thing, sometimes it is too cold to take him out.
Our computer was down if not I would have written sooner, any way I will be sending you pictures soon.
Also I have refered a few people to you, they have offered me money for gizzy but he is our baby. We have refered other people to you so that they can get a puppy, anyway I will get pictures for you, talk soon..
Lucy
Hi Vona,
We are doing well...We have had some sunny days and have been enjoying some time in the yard. She loves to play with our Dachshund dog. Right away she was happy to see him. Today they were sharing a bed-basket...too cute! ( I'll have to get better at having a camera ready all the time.) She plays great alone; with balls, kong ,ropes and is well behaved at "down" time in her crate/play yard. She has had a great start with you and must have had a great time at your place with so many dogs to play with. I wish I could see what it it is like on your farm !! We are having some success at potty-training...I'm impressed! I don't expect miracles.
She is eating pretty well, about 4 small meals a day, and a good water drinker. She did really well at the vet and she lets us touch her everywhere; she seems to love some grooming time! (no full bath )
She brings great pleasure to our home...she's super!
I'll definitely keep in touch and please continue to send any information you think is useful to us.
Best regards,
Hedy
Dear Vonna:
Thanks very much for everything.
"Austin" called after Austin Powells, arrived just fine . He is so cute. My wife is very happy and we already love him very much.
You made my family very happy.
God bless us all.
Best regards,
Jose

Hi There! Just wanted to give you an update on Paris.
She's doing just super! She seemed to have jet lag the first night, but came out of it pretty quickly. That "Stress" supplement you sent us has helped her adjust to her new home tremendously - we believe. She is soooo fun. She loves her toys and loves being held, you were right. We have been working on paper training very diligently, and she has almost hit the paper 90% of the time, today at least. She definately knows who she is, and is not afraid to go up to our (much larger) shit-zu, and take the toys RIGHT OUT HIS MOUTH. We've been trying to keep her awake today (except for an afternoon nap), because she has had her nights and days switched around since she came. She tries to sleep all day, and then will play allllll night. My husbands been sleeping on the living room floor with her (his choice); and he wakes up to her chewing on his mustache. Funny!
Well, I think Dan may call you too. Thank you for blessing us with our new little "joy"!
Sincerely, Terri King

hey vona, it is james scott. sorry i have not sent you pictures sooner but things have been really busy. bailey (toadie) is in excellent health and she now weighs 27 pounds. the potty training is going great and she has many other dog friends to play with. is their anything to do to stop her from snapping so much. i do not mind the chewing of things but i am worried that she will become an agressive dog if her biting and growling continues. she is surely a happpy dog and i will send you more pictures in a couple of months. thanks again for your kindness and generosity.
Hi Vonna,
Just wanted to drop you a note wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for 2004.
We want you to know how much we are enjoying our Phoebe that we got from you last July.
She is a joy! She has a great little personality. She is happy and curious and just loves life in general.
We took a trip with all four of our girls in August and were gone for a month in our motor home. We
found a hill in the Mountains near Ashville, NC and are building a home there. We will be moving in June or July.
Phoebe was very young when we made the trip, but she travels like a trooper. Anyway, just wanted you to know how much we love her!

Hey Vona,
Just wanted you to see Sierra on her 1st birthday. She is a complete and total BRAT.......who I love more than anything of course! Hope things are well with you.

Hi Vona,
I "adopted" a Lhasa Apso pup last November. She is the little, white one that you were holding to make sure that she could hear properly. Well, she will be turning one year old this Thursday, so I thought that you might like an update.
"Arwen" is one of the biggest joys of my life. She is ALWAYS happy and ready to play. She adores her "big brother", my 6-year-old Lhasa "Chewbacca" and must be with him all the time. (Most of the time it drives him nuts, but he takes it in stride.) But her greatest love (aside from "Mommy" of course) is our cat Guinivere. She just loves to cuddle with HER kitty. They play together and Arwen is very gentle with her. I suppose she senses that kitty is a bit mature (12 years). We had her "altered" as soon as our vet said she was large enough. She is very healthy and has had no problems what so ever. Although she has stayed quite small. She has topped out at 10 and half pounds. Not for lack of eating though. Her favorite non-dog food is raisins and anything else fruity. It is because of her love of fruity things that we ordered a pineapple cake from Three Dog Bakery for her big day.
I would like to thank you again for helping us in getting our "baby girl". My hubby and I just love her so! I am also eagerly awaiting the update on your site. I think that Arwen may be ready for a new brother or sister soon. Please let me know. Take care and best wishes to your family.
Sincerely,
Michelle Ralston
I was just wanting to let you know that Tilly is doing just fine. Her
Dr. visits are all good. She is growing like a weed. Tilly has become
one of the family and we love her very much. She is spoiled rotten.
She is house broken and stays in our bedroom every night. I couldn't be
happier with our decision to take her in spite of her heart problems,
if you didn't know better you would never guess there is anything wrong
with her. We want to let you know that we appreciate your help in
giving us a new member to our family.
the Cook family
I would like to tell you that Lucy has been a wonderful addition to the family. Our new baby girl's name is Macy and they are starting to be great friends. Lucy loves to lick Macy's feet and Macy loves Lucy to lick her feet. When Macy came home, Lucy was a little sad at first, but now I know everything is OK with her. She is my "big baby" now.
Chrystal, Andre, and Macy
Please look at the pictures I attached to this email. We were tilling up part of our back yard to plant grass and flowers. When Sara decided to
water, Sadie thought it would be fun to run through the mud.
Have a great weekend!
Matthew
Here are a couple of pictures of princess with her big brother. They wrestle and play tug a war together all the time. Believe it or not sometime she actually wins. Anyway everything is going great. Your other puppies are so cute.
Craig

hello Vona,
Just wanted to let you know that I will sign the paper you send me and send you a copy this week. Sorry for the delay!
"Butterball" is doing great...we decided to name her that after they way you described her from one of your email sent to me. She is real adorable..she don't bark..which is good but is weird specially when you expect a new puppy to cry at night. She has been very obedient and well behave, here and there a little mistakes but we all expect that..she is only a puppy.
Anyhow, on another note my family is very impress with her behavior it is why my sister is considering to purchase a puppy for daughter soon. Hopefully to be deliver on time for her daughter's birthday late August. I will go over with her the process etc, and defenetly recommend you to purchase the puppy from. I'll keep you inform since she has to talk about it with her husband, but whatever the outcome is, please be sure that I will be purchasing another puppy for myself in a year or so...I think Butterball will like to have a companion to play with when I'm not at home.
I can't stress enough how a wonderful feeling it is to have her with me, and how i don't regret a minute the time I had to wait. She has been a complete joy to my entire family and specially for myself. SHE IS GETTING SPOIL!!!!
f.y.i - she only bark once since she arrived and it was to a country song on the radio while I was looking for a station to play. (Could it be, you listen to country music? if not hum-mm wonder why she did) (if you do she remembered you)
take care, by the way my sister name is Judith Rizo Torres just in case she contact you before i do.
Vona,
Just wanted to let you know that we are enjoying our puppies immensely. The first one that we picked out is named Fuzzhead and she weighs 6 lbs. now and definitly has more poodle in her that anything else. The other one that I got for Christmas is named Dixie and she is 7 lbs.9oz and is a very light apricot color and white and has very long legs. She is a real lover. The other one is quicker to pick up things but is very obstinate at times and can be very demanding. They are almost totally housetrained. I am glad that we got the 2 of them because they play very hard and wear each other out. They sleep 6 hours without getting up during the night in their kennel. I pick up pictures of them tomorrow and will put a set in the mail to you. Thank you for all of your help and in having such a great web site that I was able to find you and them.
Take care,
Susan Trotter
Hi Vona,
You have the floor falling beneath you too? It must be in the air we
have had a wild and wooley couple of weeks.
Cayman is GREAT. Everybody loves her. She is up to 3 pounds and
spoiled rotten. She is still coming to work with me and a lady that lives
here has a shittzu too. They like to play together. She is very smart
and has learned just about everything except not to go poddy in the
house. That one is going to take some time.
She had her vaccines and it was horrible. She whined and attached
herself to me for about 20 minutes afterward. Boy does she know mom. She
likes to meet new people but she always scurries to get back to me. I love
it.
Tom spoils her worse than me. What a sucker. He lets her sleep with him
in the morning after I leave for the gym and she gets to lay in bed
with us at night for around an hour before we go to sleep and her bed is
right next to me so I can reach down and pet her if she gets upset but I
don't think she'll be sleeping in her own bed much longer. Do You?
Thanks again. we love our new baby. She is beautiful and sweet.
thanks again
courtney and tom
Just a quick note to let you know that Minnie is doing great! She fit into the family perfectly right from the beginning. Potty training is going fantastic -- accidents are very rare now. She's up to about 4.5 lbs now I think. She eats very well. We'll see what she weighs at her next vet appointment in a couple of weeks. Thanks again for our wonderful new family member!
Regards,
Dan & Tavish Douglass
Hi Vona!
This is Sol Rodriguez updating you on one of the yorkie pups we purchased from you in December. His name is Frodo and he's one of Sam and Coco's I believe. We just want to express our thanks for giving us such a precious pup. He's got a quirky personality and gets along so well with his older brother 'achilles'. We've kept him on a eukenuba puppy diet and he's doing just great. He's quite chubby, but his daily play and walk are keeping him fit. We go in for his first vet visit since he's been with us and we're expecting great results. I'm sending you some pictures of him. They were taken his 2nd week at home with us.
Truly,
Sol and Ruben Rodriguez
